Scott Bauhs Invitational RESULTS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE
Frosh Soph, Junior Varsity Tackle Three-Mile Distance at Bauhs Invitational Lopping off a giant three-and-a-half minutes from his previous year's mark on the Shadow Cliff's three-mile course, Isaac Valverde (14) finished first among the Cougars' sophomore boys in a time of 17:14. Cole Whitley (14) and Andy Van Heuit (13) also notched big improvements in their respective divisions at the Scot Bauhs Invitational, hosted by the East Bay Athletic League. Brighie Leach (15) topped her freshman teammates to earn second place, while Erica Wolfram (15) finished 30th in 23:01. Jenny Smit (14) managed to hold an eight-minute mile pace to lower her own three mile time by 1:37 in the sophomore girls' competition. Kevin Fong (13) led the charge for the junior boys, finishing in 16:17. His time was among the top thirty times on the day, fastest on the team, and 11th in the race.
