LoPresti Lords over Orienteers, Wins Second Title; Capurro Beats Rookie Boys

With a "spiraling" tactic, Nick LoPresti (13) cruised around the Hidden Valley Park open space, easily winning the veteran boys' division of the annual Orienteering Championships. LoPresti won the rookie division last year.

Trent Capurro (15) out ran and out witted the rookie boys this year, checking in at twelve control points located at random points in the park. An eager Brighie Leach (15) out kicked Ellen Hann (14) in the final stretch for the veteran girls' win.
