Moore Climbs 800m Record Board; DMR Squads Post Improved Marks at Stanford

Finishing 800m in 1:55.31 at Saturday's Stanford Invitational, Niki Moore (17) lowered his personal best over 2 laps by over a second. The time moves the junior just ahead of 2012 distance great Thomas Joyce to take over the 3rd spot on the all-time school record board.

Moore had run 1:57 for the same distance the previous afternoon, helping his distance medley relay team post a fine 10:31.49 to finish 5th overall. Jonathan Semenza (16) contributed a lead-off 1200m leg in 3:15.8 to put the Cougars in the lead pack. The 4:26.4 anchor leg from Jared Yabu (17) was one of the best every by a Campolindo athlete.

The girl's DMR was highlighted by a strong 3-lap effort from Hannah Ruane (18) followed by a blazing 60-second 400m performance from Juliet Arnswald (17). Their squads 12:14.74 clocking is 3rd best in school history.
