Randolph Runs 30-second Best in 3200m; 7 Climb Podium at NCS Meet of Champions

Distance standout Helen Randolph (25) saved her best for last as the senior earned a podium finish in the 3200m at the NCS Meet of Champions with a 30 second improvement over her previous season best. In spite of the typical windy conditions in the Dublin High School stadium, Randolph battled against the fastest field in meet history to finish 6th in a time of 10:44.26. The mark moves her to 6th all-time on the school record list.

Other podium finishers over the 2-day event included Sean Parker (26), who turned in his 2nd-best triple jump performance of the season to finish 4th. His mark of 45-10 was just a half-inch shy of the automatic state championship qualifier.

Also finishing 4th were Jasmine McCasland (27) in the 400m and Sierra Worster (26) in pole vault. Worster set a new personal best with a clearance of 10-7.

The girls' 4x800m relay squad held on for a 5th-place finish on Friday evening while the girls' 4x400 relay squad claimed that same step on the podium on Saturday night. Sarah Graves (26) turned in the top 400m split of her career at 60.5.
