Granada Distance & Sprint Festival RESULTS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE Li's 14-4 Wins Granada Fest Pole Vault; Girls' 400 Relay Rises to 3rd All Time Junior Malik Li (26) continued his rise in the record books with a 14-foot, 4-inch clearance to win the pole vault title at Saturday's Granada Distance & Sprint Festival hosted by Granada High School of Livermore. The mark is now 5th best in Campolindo history. Also moving up the all-time lists were Rithik Narayan (25) in the 110 hurdles, Grace Allen (26) in the discus, and Jasmine McCasland (27) in the 400m sprint. Allen and McCasland are now 7th on their respective lists while Narayan claimed the 11th best mark. However, the most historic performance was turned in by the newly revamped girls' 400 relay squad which included a 1st-time 3rd-leg carry from freshman Sophia Moore (28). Also featuring a backstretch run by Sarah Graves (26), the quartet clocked 49.09 to claim the #3 best mark for Campolindo. The marathon day of track & field began with fog cover and morning temperatures in the high 40s. By noon the skies had cleared and temperatures were approaching the mid 70s. Most improved performers on the day included Jaxson Luckhurst (27) in the 400m and Jillian Randolph (28) in the 3200m. Randolph knocked a whopping 65 seconds off her previous 8-lap effort.
