Knights Sweep Shorthanded Cougars at Final Home Dual; Relay Dips under 50

With over a quarter of the roster on the sidelines, Campolindo fell short in every division at Wednesday's league dual meet against Las Lomas. The Knights flexed their depth, winning 33 separate events and sweeping the top 3 places in 9 of them.

The few bright spots fore the Cougars included a 20-foot long jump from rookie Oliver Murrin (27) and a 9-foot improvement in the discus for Vivienne Dunn (27).

The girls' sprinters continued their upward trajectory with a season-1st performance under 50 seconds in the 400 relay. Anchored by Jasmine McCasland (27), the quartet clocked 49.89, which is currently tops in the league and 7th on the all-time school record list. McCasland would go on to improve her open 200m time to 26.12, which ranks 8th best in Campolindo history.

The boys' distance squad demonstrated their prowess in the 1600m race with 8 competitors eclipsing the 4:40 mark, including winner Caden Ehrhorn (28) finishing in a personal best of 4:25.63.
