Parker Wins Triple with Single Attempt; Varsity Squad Positioned for Title Runs

Sean Parker (26) began his post-season by posting the winning mark on his 1st and only attempt in the varsity boys' triple jump competition at Saturday's Diablo Athletic League Championship trials hosted in Campolindo's Bob Wilson Stadium. The senior will also compete in the finals of the 100m, the 4x100 relay, and the long jump on May 9.

Other event winners on May 2 were Jasmine McCasland (27), who topped the varsity girls' long jump field by over 2 feet, Jude Harkavy (28), who cleared 10 feet in the frosh soph pole vault, and Talia Maco (28), who posted a personal best of 89 feet and 3 inches in the frosh soph girls' discus.

With Malik Li's runner-up finish in the varsity boys' pole vault and Emma Stimmler's 2nd place in the varsity girls' high jump, both varsity squads are well positioned to challenge for league team titles when the DAL Championships resume this Saturday.
