Miller Tops Team with Clever Course at First Annual Orienteering Championships

Navigating the eleven control points through Hidden Valley Park in a stagger adjusted time (that's the actual time!) of 28:25, Bradley Miller (11) earned the 2008 Orienteering Championships overall title at Saturday's competitions between Campolindo harriers.

Miller's winning course covered an efficient 2.8 miles!

Division winners included Rookie Girls' champion Tina Curiel (10), Veteran Girls' winner Danielle Karstetter (11), and Veteran Boys' first place finisher Jarret Hendrickson (09).

Rachel Meadows (12) and Spencer Verdon (10) earned "Hardcore" honors for their battles with mud and quicksand while attempting to ford the creek ravine.
