Track veteran Niki Moore (17) made his cross country debut with a wire-to-wire win in the Rookie Boys' race with Pablo Nguyen (20) topping the the rest of the class of 2020 talent to finish 2nd. The Veteran Girls' competition was dominated by improvements from Hannah Ruane (18) and Isabella Chao (18), who each set new 2-mile bests. The day was capped with solid performances from Jared Yabu (17) and Ray Diaz (17), who lowered their own course records while taking the top 2 spots in the Veteran Boys' race. Teddy Buckley (19) equalled his course best, set at the first 2015 league center meet, crossing the line in 11:11. The day's biggest PR came from Max Essl (19), who showed what a year of consistent training can do, knocking over 70 seconds off his previous Hidden Valley Park best.
