Team Time Trial RESULTS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE Gunn Holds off Youngster to Win 1600m Trial; Woidat Tops Girls' Improvements An informal evening of 1600m heats was capped with a down-to-the wire battle between a 3-year varsity veteran and an upstart rookie. Dylan Gunn (21), who did most of the work during the 4-lap effort in the final and fastest race, responded to pressure applied by Alex Lodewick (23) down the home stretch. The pair were separated by less than a second as Gunn took the tape in 4:31.6 while Lodewick finished 2nd in 4:31.9. Dylan Cronin (20) also maintained contact through the final stages of the race, earning himself a nifty PR in 4:32.9 to take 3rd place. The top improvement on the girls' side came from Gracie Woidat (22), who dropped 34 seconds from her 2018 time-trial mark to finish in 5:54.9. Alicia Hober (20) posted the fastest girl' time in 2-years, lowering her career best to 5:05.0. James Tang (21) led the boys, subtracting 49-seconds from his performance at last year's 1600m time trial.
