Practice Meet RESULTS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE
PR's Abound at First Competiton of 2021 Those who participated in the 2021 edition of the "Little Ed" Practice Meet on Friday, September 3, showed an eager anticipation for competition after a year of COVID shutdown. Over 70% of Campolindo athletes improved over their previous bests on the Hidden Valley Park course. Leading the charge, Connor McGhee (23) destroyed his PR by nearly 15%, dropping an 11:06 to finish 4th. The effort lands him in the 49th position on the all-time course record list for Campolindo athletes. The biggest improvement from a newcomer came from freshman Siddharth Iyer ((25), who pick up 2 minutes and 5 seconds over his summer time-trial performance. Sloan Pullen (25) provided the most improved girls' time, with a 1 minute and 11 second improvement. Top times of the meet were also set by Campolindo athletes. Ellie Buckley (23) won the girls' race in 12:21, good enough for 6th best on the Campolindo all-time list. The boys' race was dominated by Alex Lodewick (23), who won in 10:29, which is the 12th best Cougar performance on the course.
