July 23, 2020 Small Groups Keep Ball Rolling at LCP
Another day, another workout: Campolindo cross country kept its momentum going with a segmented fartlek workout on Thursday in Lafayette Community Park. Under a cool layer of fog, the training groups used the traditional half-mile loop to log a 35-minute workout following an easy 20 minute warm-up run.
With the official high school sport seasons pushed back to the spring of 2021, the Cougar harriers continue to develop their fitness Monday through Saturday following county guidelines for athletic summer camps.

Newhall Park of Concord provided the perfect terrain for a competitive test as training cohorts executed mystery fartlek workouts on Saturday, October 17 and Saturday, October 31, in preparation for their final time trial opportunities of the fall club season.
November 5, 2020 Athletes Acknowledge Challenges during Covid Pandemic; Reflect on Fall Program
The fall XC/Track Club 12-week fall program drew to a close during the 1st week of November. While workouts were tapered in preparation for the 5000-meter races scheduled for Saturday, November 7, athletes looked back on an impressive body of training that spanned 5 months and included challenges presented by an ongoing pandemic as well as wildfire smoke.
